If you have questions about Christianity, or are a new Christian, we would love to invite you to join the next Alpha course.

Looking for answers? The Alpha course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening manner over ten, thought-provoking weekly sessions. It's low key, friendly and fun. And it's supported by all the main Christian denominations. We start with coffee & nice puddings, then have the talk, and each talk is followed by discussion in small groups. Listen, learn, discuss and discover. And ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile.

Alpha is for everyone, especially those wanting to investigate Christianity, new Christians, newcomers to the church, or those who just want to brush up on the basics.

Alpha AwayDays

"Brilliant!" "Amazing!" "I really sensed God's presence and peace." These are typical comments from guests who attend our ALPHA Away Days at the High Leigh Conference Centre in Hertfordshire. Our attention during the day focusses upon the Holy Spirit: who He is, what He does and how to receive His infilling.

There is always a real evidence of the presence of God during the day. Many witness a fresh experience of Him and a greater awareness of His peace and power. In the afternoon there is a walk in the countryside which enables us to enjoy His sunshine and fresh air.
